As a key member of the team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Deputy Head of Administration and the Head of Football Administration in all aspects of football operations. You'll be responsible for handling a variety of administrative duties related to both Manchester City Football Club (MCFC) and Manchester City Women's Football Club (MCWFC), covering senior teams as well as Academy squads. Your contributions will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and will be essential to the success of the football administration process.

Your Impact

  • To assist with the preparation of MCFC scholarship agreements and all associated documentation.
  • To assist with registration documentation relating to MCWFC, including responsibility for completing all Professional Game Academy (PGA) registrations.
  • To assist with all relevant minor applications required by the relevant football regulatory bodies.
  • To assist with the preparation and submission of Governing Body Endorsement/International Sportsperson visa applications.
  • Be a key club user of all relevant regulatory football administration systems (including, but not limited to, FIFA Transfer Matching System, Premier League IFAS system, Women’s Professional Game iFAS).
  • To assist with preparation and submission of relevant paperwork relating to domestic and international trialists for MCFC and MCWFC.
  • To assist with preparation of player eligibility schedules for MCFC and MCWFC and maintain disciplinary schedules for MCFC and MCWFC.
  • Disseminate all match-related information for MCFC and MCWFC.
  • Manage all scouts’ registrations for MCFC and staff registrations for MCWFC.
  • To assist the Football Administration team during transfer windows.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Demonstrable, strong knowledge of football in terms of administration.
  • Football regulatory knowledge.
  • Organised and methodical.
  • Set and maintain a high standard of work performance and deliver quality consistently and efficiently.
  • Effective at planning in order to meet fixed deadlines.
  • Possessing communication skills that are clear, engaging and responsive to the target audience.
  • Develop networks, and create and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working within a football administration function.
  • A good understanding of relevant football regulations as applicable to men’s and women’s sphere.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel) and football administration systems such as TMS and iFAS.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be flexible in approach to achieve targets and successful outcomes.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a football administration role for a professional football club.
  • Experience and a strong understanding of Women's Football.
