Foot Mobile Engineer - West End - £35,000 + Travel + Overtime


Company Overview
A well-established building services provider is looking for a Foot Mobile Engineer to join their team, covering a small portfolio of commercial office buildings in the West End. This is a great opportunity for a junior engineer looking to develop their career, as well as experienced engineers wanting a mobile role with a steady workload and excellent earning potential.


Role Overview
As a Foot Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical building services systems across multiple commercial properties. This role requires a proactive attitude and a good understanding of general building maintenance.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial office buildings.
  2. Maintain and test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems to ensure compliance.
  3. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
  4. Work closely with site teams and contractors to maintain a high standard of service.
  5. Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Electrical or Mechanical bias (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant discipline preferred).
  2. Experience in commercial building maintenance, including PPMs and reactive work.
  3. Knowledge of emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
  4. A proactive and adaptable approach - attitude is key for this role.

On Offer

  1. £35,000 salary + paid travel
  2. Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
  3. Plenty of overtime available
