Job summary

JLL Foot Mobile Maintenance team seeks a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to service central London sites. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC and building services and report on completed tasks via the site CMMS. A reliable, safety-conscious professional is essential.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical & mechanical systems, plus certifications (IPAF, PASMA) and City & Guilds/NVQ. This is an on-site, mobile role covering London Zones 1-2.

Qualifications

• Worked in a similar HVAC environment with building services expertise.
• Familiar with air handling units, 4 pipe fan coil units, lighting systems, and BMS.
• Qualified with City & Guilds/NVQ in mechanical/electrical or building services; IPAF and PASMA certified.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure QA and site safety procedures are followed and maintain site records.
• Inspect services, attend callouts, and support subcontractors for PPM and reactive works.

Location: Mobile walking position covering in and around London Zones 1-2

Role Overview

A position for a building service engineer to be responsible for mobile sites in central London; undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, as instructed by the Portfolio Supervisor
• Perform full mechanical and electrical planned preventative maintenance and reactive works
• Close/update completed PPM tasks on the site computerised maintenance system
• Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained to maximise the operation, effectiveness, and reliability of the building and associated systems
• Assist specialist subcontractors’ requirements both for PPM and reactive works

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure JLL’s QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects
• Ensure both site and JLL’s Health & Safety procedures are always followed
• Comply with JLL’s Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, as detailed in the site plans
• Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works

Operational Support

• Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management
• Carry out tasks within typical building environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders (All access and PPE will be provided)
• Keep and maintain all JLL issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
• Proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach
• Complete any other associated tasks requested by management

Experience & Qualifications

Technical Experience

• Worked or currently working in a similar HVAC environment and familiar with the following equipment:
• Air Handling Units
• 4 pipe fan coil units
• Emergency lighting
• L8 requirements
• Fire Alarm Testing
• Lighting Systems
• Plumbing
• BMS (Building Management Systems)
• Record keeping

Qualifications & Certifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ – in Mechanical, Electrical or Building services
• IPAF (International Powered Access Federation)
• PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association)

IT Skills

• Knowledge and use of computer software - Excel, MS Office
