Foot Mobile Handyman / Maintenance Engineer – £32,000-£38,000 + Benefits

Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile Foot Mobile Handyman / Maintenance Engineer to cover all building maintenance works within a commercial building in Birmingham City Centre. The role involves attending to planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance tasks, including basic fabric work such as plumbing, filter changes, cleaning Mechanical Systems, basic electrical works, and water testing/flushing.

Responsibilities

1. Perform building maintenance duties across various disciplines.
2. Attend to PPMs and reactive maintenance requests.
3. Carry out basic fabric repairs, plumbing, electrical, and water system tasks.
4. Ensure all works comply with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, preferably with a building services or facilities management company.
• Versatile skill set covering multiple disciplines.
• Maintenance experience with electrical or plumbing qualifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
