An exciting Business Development Manager role bringing a great plant-based brand to the UK & Irish Foodservice and OOH market.

This European plant-based brand has recruited their UK Managing Director and is now looking to take the UK and Irish markets by storm by recruiting a team of specialists to be part of that growth. They have a great portfolio of chilled and frozen products across various categories.

This role involves managing the Foodservice channel. You will scope and manage opportunities across QSR, contract catering, wholesale, and B2B manufacturing. The role requires building a new business pipeline and engaging with new customers. The range of products and innovation opportunities are extensive. The role will involve building relationships with chefs and culinary departments, as well as presenting to buyers and directors of larger accounts.

The business has chosen London as its main office hub. However, this role is home-based, allowing you to work from home and spend time with colleagues as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  1. Have a proven track record in foodservice sectors, with end-user engagement being key.
  2. Be comfortable in developing new business relationships.
  3. Be a foodie with an interest in the plant-based movement and its benefits for health and the planet.
  4. Be entrepreneurial and adaptable to the flexibility required in a start-up environment.
