Job Description:

About The Role

We’re looking for a passionate person to join our Butlin’s team in our onsite food warehouse as part of our Buffets department. Our teams create unforgettable experiences for our guests, and we are currently looking for an amazing team member to join our warehouse team.

You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our food deliveries into resort’s Catering Stores, accept and reject deliveries effectively and efficiently as per our food safety policy, and organise and put away fresh, frozen, and ambient deliveries, ensuring the FIFO policy is used at all times.

You will liaise with the Lead Chef on duty regarding food orders, maintain a high level of cleanliness, and ensure effective stock management by complying with current legislation regarding Food Hygiene Regulations.

Working with the team, you will complete food safety documentation, support weekly stocktakes using our inhouse system, and manage our food cost budget through efficient stock management and communication. You will build relationships with suppliers to meet our requirements.

We will support you to gain skills and confidence, providing full training for all warehouse duties. A forklift license is essential; a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage.

About You

If you have a warm, friendly manner and love to chat, we can teach you the ins and outs of working as part of our team. Previous experience is welcome but not required.

You should be interested in working in a busy warehouse environment, committed to consistent delivery, and able to build relationships across departments. Being a great team player and enjoying a busy environment is essential.

You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.

Working hours are 35 hours per week, in shifts between 6am - 3pm, 5 days over 7 including weekends.
