Due to growth, a unique opportunity has emerged for an ambitious procurement professional to join a £multi-billion Food & Beverages / FMCG firm experiencing hyper-growth as they expand into new markets. They seek a Procurement Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies, focusing on retail food-related spend (e.g., confectionery, snacks, nuts, chocolate, health products, convenience foods) to deliver value, cost savings, sustainability, mitigate supply chain risks, and foster category growth and innovation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Create category strategies and growth plans by identifying market opportunities to develop the company's range and margins.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on cost savings, innovation, and growth in Food & Beverages spend.
• Manage performance, accounts, and contracts with suppliers to maximize savings and client retention.

Required Experience:

• Commercial acumen with end-to-end procurement experience in Food & Beverages categories within Food Retail, Foodservice, Hospitality, FMCG, Wholesale, or Contract Catering.
• Proven experience in procurement, category, or account management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to influence buy-in and drive category strategies.
