Job summary

SPAR Glemsford is seeking a Customer Team Member to support store management and deliver excellent customer service on a busy food-to-go focused shift. The role involves greeting customers, handling till transactions, stock replenishment and upholding store standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior retail experience, reliable attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Reliable attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Understanding of retail legislation responsibilities.
• Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience with cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Answer questions and help customers find items.
• Process purchases at tills accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell products and highlight multi-buy offers.
• Stock and rotate stock, maintain a clean and organised sales floor.
• Complete additional tasks such as date checking, stock checks, price changes and promotions.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
