  • Agir comme tuteur principal et établir de solides relations avec les élèves et familles.
  • Aider les élèves à la transition vers l'éducation traditionnelle ou à la complétion des qualifications KS4.

Job description

Teachmatch are seeking a motivated and inspiring Food Technology Teacher to join a dedicated team at a client school in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require a more tailored and supportive learning environment.

About the Role:
You will work with groups of up to 8 students, supporting them to achieve a range of qualifications within the Hospitality and Catering sector. Courses delivered include:

  • WJEC GCSE Technical Award
  • Gateway Vocational Award/Certificate

You will play a vital role in helping students either transition back into mainstream education or complete their KS4 qualifications.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will act as a key tutor, building strong relationships with students and their families to support:

  • Positive engagement and behaviour
  • High levels of attendance
  • Social and emotional development

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred) with a background in Food Technology or a related subject
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in an alternative provision setting (desirable)
  • A proactive and nurturing approach to teaching and behaviour management
  • Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable learners
