What you'll do as a Food Technology Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Food Technology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, fostering a love of cooking and food in our students.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to experiment, create, and develop their culinary skills.
  • Teach a variety of cooking techniques and food preparation methods, ensuring students gain a solid foundation in Food Technology.
  • Incorporate theoretical knowledge of nutrition, food science, and food safety into your lessons, providing students with a well-rounded understanding of Food Technology.
  • Assess students' practical skills and theoretical understanding through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.

What you'll need to be a successful Food Technology Teacher:
