Job description

My client is looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work at a school around the Ruislip area. This is a Part-time Temporary Position starting ASAP for the rest of the academic year, working ONLY on Thursdays.

To be considered, YOU MUST:
  1. Have recent experience working as a Food Technology Teacher
  2. Hold a relevant teaching qualification
  3. Have experience teaching KS3 & GCSE classes
  4. Be available to start ASAP
  5. Hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate

If you are a teacher with dynamic qualities, a proven record of raising pupil attainment, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and support pupils of all abilities, we would like to hear from you. We value teachers who are keen to further develop their practice and work well in a team.

Job Specific Requirements:
  1. Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
  2. Experience in the subject area, including planning and assessment of pupil learning
  3. Knowledge of current issues and developments in the curriculum
  4. Experience in curriculum development
  5. Effective communication skills with staff, pupils, and parents
  6. Ability to manage learning and teaching effectively for individuals, groups, and classes
  7. Ability to prioritize work within the subject department
  8. Strong organizational skills
  9. Interpersonal skills for relating to staff, pupils, and parents
