Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a Doncaster secondary school to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Food Technology from the new academic year. The role covers KS3-4 with engaging lessons, practical and theory instruction, and strict health and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Food Technology lessons that inspire students.
• Teach practical and theoretical aspects of food preparation, nutrition, health and food safety.
• Differentiate lessons to meet learners with varying abilities.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Create a safe, organised and stimulating learning environment, following health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
