A respected Church of England School in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our Technology department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore culinary arts and nutrition within a framework of healthy living and ethical food sourcing.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans covering culinary techniques, nutrition, and food safety.
  • Facilitate student-led cooking projects and experiments.
  • Assess student progress through practical assessments and written evaluations.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the food technology curriculum.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as cooking clubs and food festivals.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience teaching food technology at the secondary level, preferably in a faith school setting.
  • Proficiency in culinary techniques and food safety.
