£31,650 - £43,606 per annum

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a suitable qualification to teach Food Technology i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS

The School and Role

ABC Teachers is looking to appoint a Long-Term Food Technology Supply Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Yardley. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a passionate teacher looking to make a lasting impact in a creative and practical subject area. You will be teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and hands-on lessons that encourage students to develop practical cooking skills and a strong understanding of nutrition, food hygiene and healthy living. Requirements

The successful Food Technology Teacher will have;

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level (KS3 KS4)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for food education and practical learning

  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
