Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join an SEMH School based in Southampton. This long-term contract position has the potential to become permanent from September 2025.
We are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a drive to support SEN pupils, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
The school provides a quality educational experience for students who have or are experiencing difficulties in a mainstream setting due to medical, social, emotional, or behavioral needs. The school supports young people from Years 1-11, helping them develop strategies to improve their resilience and confidence through a personalized curriculum, delivered by dedicated, experienced, and qualified staff.
We are seeking a dedicated teacher with a specialism in Food. The ideal candidate will be suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and inspirational, with the ability to work in a team. They will be passionate about the subject and demonstrate flair while maintaining the highest standards.
