Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to work in a Secondary school in Lancaster. This is a full-time teaching role starting September 2025.

The role

The Food Technology teacher role in Lancaster will start September 2025 and will be ongoing with no set end date.

The desired Food Technology Teacher will be working with pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers.

The school would also consider a specialist in another subject but have previous experience covering Food or DT classes.

It expects the best provision for the children under its care and is led by an experienced Senior team who support their staff in all aspects of the job. The School offers excellent CPD and also provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Food Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
