Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Folkestone, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT with a specialism in Food Preparation and Nutrition.

The Role:

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a curriculum that inspires creativity, promotes healthy lifestyles, and develops key life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Food Technology to a high standard, ensuring strong progress for all learners.

Develop and deliver a dynamic curriculum, including GCSE-level content.

Maintain a safe, well-organised learning environment with a focus on food hygiene and safety.

Work collaboratively with other staff and contribute to wider school life and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.

Subject specialism or significant experience in Food Technology.

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.

A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people.

An enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel).
