Empowering Learning are currently recruiting Food technology Teacher to work with pupils with learning difficulties in Bromley. The successful candidate will be supporting pupils in class, teaching food technology. The ideal person will be able to assist with food hygiene +9 and lesson activities within the schools The school would like a positive and versatile person, with a keen interest in supporting pupils of different learning levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Able to work with groups or support within the classroom
  • Supporting pupils with Complex Needs, Autism & Learning Difficulties
  • Supervising and operating food technology
  • Supervising pupils' behaviour
  • Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development

Job Requirements

  • Adaptable and willing to work with different secondary age groups
  • Willing to support children with learning difficulties
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS
  • Available 5 days a week
  • Able to commit to a long term to permanent role.
