Best in Class in Bradford area is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bingley, on a full-time basis. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, teaching practical cooking, nutrition, and food science.

The role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and commitment to safeguarding. You will assess progress, provide feedback, and help prepare students for GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical food preparation skills.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for teaching and supporting young people’s development.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons.
  • An enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Food Technology Teacher – Full Time

Location: Bingley, West Yorkshire, BD16
Salary: £160–£270 per day
Contract: Full-time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bingley, BD16, on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Food Technology specialist who enjoys inspiring students and creating engaging, practical lessons.

The Role

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Teach practical cooking, nutrition, food preparation and food science.
