Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a QTS Food Technology teacher looking for a new supply role for September 2025?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented food technology Teacher to join a secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary teaching role to cover an absence from 2nd September 2025 to 17th October 2025.

The Role

Teacher of Food Technology

Five days a week 8.15am to 3.00pm

Delivery of food technology, nutrition and health and catering with a focus on innovative practical lessons

Experience of GCSE food is essential as the timetable is predominantly year 11 classes

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• As the role involves practical food teaching the teacher must have Qualified Teacher Status to be covered on the school's insurance policy
