A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Brighton is seeking a passionate and creative Food Technology ECT to join their dynamic Design & Technology faculty in September 2025. The Role
You will deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love of cooking, nutrition, and food science. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to after-school cookery clubs and curriculum development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

  • A degree in Food, Nutrition, or a related field and QTS (or working towards it by July 2025)

  • A practical, hands-on approach to teaching with strong subject knowledge

  • The ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Enthusiasm for enrichment activities and collaborative planning
