Overview

Food Technology and Culture & Belief Teacher - The Whitley AP Academy. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to carry out the professional duties of a teacher, delivering lessons in a range of subjects to suit applicants’ strengths. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to continually strive to improve provision at the Academy.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of subjects in the Academy; experience of teaching Food Technology, BTEC Hospitality & Tourism and Religious Education would be beneficial.
• Take part in research projects to improve the quality of education, and participate in the coaching programme for all staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience teaching Food Technology; experience with BTEC Hospitality & Tourism and Religious Education is advantageous.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school improvement initiatives.

Contract and remuneration

Location: Halifax

Salary: £32,916.00 - £51,048.00 annually (Actual), MPS/UPS Plus SEN Point £2,787

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term Maternity Cover from January 2026 until 17 July 2026 or return of postholder
