apetito is seeking a detail-focused Food Technologist to join the New Product Development team at the UK Head Office in Trowbridge. You will convert product and ingredient data into accurate, compliant information supporting safe meals for people who rely on our food daily.

You will work with suppliers, development colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory and apetito requirements are met, delivering high-quality specifications through concept to launch.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of UK/EU food Labelling laws.
• Experience preparing food specifications & labels.
• Ability to check raw material specs for accuracy and compliance.
• Numerical ability to support recipe calculations.

Responsabilités

• Manage workload across specifications, queries, artwork checks, legislative updates and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate raw material specifications with suppliers.
• Prepare finished product specifications and ensure compliance before sharing with stakeholders.
• Gather and approve supplier, recipe and product data for accurate information.
• Respond to product and material queries with clear, timely technical info.
• Check artwork and product information for accuracy and compliance.
• Keep product data in internal systems up to date.
• Support development teams in technical setup of new products.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to innovation.
• Keep up to date with legislative changes.
