Job summary

Griffith Foods Inc. in the United Kingdom invites a proactive learner to join our product development team as an entry-level Technical Assistant.

You will support new product development and maintenance, prepare samples, run trials, document results, and learn established processes under guidance. This role offers a development pathway toward the Level 3 Food Industry Technologist and potentially the Level 6 degree apprenticeship, or direct entry to Level 6, subject to eligibility.

• Operational support impact, focused on completing defined tasks that contribute to specific projects and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will undertake a development pathway leading to either the Level 3 Food Industry Technologist qualification and subsequent progression to the Level 6 Food Industry Technical Professional (BSc (Hons)) degree apprenticeship, or direct entry to the Level 6 programme, subject to prior qualifications and eligibility. Applicants must be 18 years of age or over to meet the programme entry requirements.

The salary for the successful candidate will be paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage rate for their age, in line with current UK Government guidance.
