Food Development Technologist

My client, a successful food & beverage manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an Experienced Development Technologist for their site based on the Bristol Wales border. The successful Development Technologist will enjoy being part of a small friendly team and will have passion and enthusiasm and want to be involved in making a difference, learning new skills and making innovation happen.


Development Technologist Key Skills:

  1. Minimum of 2 years Development experience in a food or drinks environment
  2. Proactive self-starter with a genuine interest in food and beverages
  3. Literate and numerate, confident in MS Office & Social Media
  4. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a Food technology or Food science-based subject
  5. Methodical and organised, someone who can manage their projects, stick to deadlines, and follow procedure
  6. Curious and enthusiastic about food & drink, keeping up to date on trends in new ingredients, processing and products
  7. A positive people person comfortable making new contacts and maintaining relationships
  8. A team player who can influence without relying on job titles
  9. A problem solver, willing to make the improvements you identify, as if it were your own business

This role is commutable from Cardiff, Bristol, Gloucester, Newport, Monmouthshire and may suit a person that has previously worked as a technologist, concept technologist, development technologist.
