Job description
Overview

Simply Education is working with a school in West Northamptonshire seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their school on a part time basis. A full time requirement will be required if the Teacher is able to teach Resistant Materials along with Food. The position will include Key Stage 3 & 4 classes. The position is to begin after October half term.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4 classes.
  • Potentially teach Resistant Materials as well, which may convert the role to full-time.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally hold UK QTS
  • Have strong classroom management
  • A formal qualification such as a PGCE in Education is essential, although previous experience in a classroom environment would also be considered.
  • A passion for teaching and education
  • Have a creative approach to teaching
