Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting a Food Technician to support the Design & Technology department within a secondary school in Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in catering, hospitality, food preparation, or school technician work seeking education sector experience.

The position offers weekly pay, safeguarding training, and opportunities for long- or short-term placements, with support from a dedicated education consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, catering or hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a school environment.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

About the Role
