Food Technician - Full-Time & Long-Term - Southeast London - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting a Food Technician to work with a range of secondary schools across Bromley and Southeast London. This full-time, long-term position is available for an immediate start, with opportunities to work in supportive and well-equipped departments.

Whether you're an experienced Food Technician or a graduate with a degree in a food-related subject (e.g., Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts), we want to hear from you. Technician experience is preferred but not essential-we welcome motivated individuals eager to make a difference in education.

To be considered, candidates must hold a degree in a relevant field and possess an enhanced DBS on the update service.



Responsibilities:

  • Preparing ingredients and equipment for practical lessons

  • Supporting teachers during food technology classes

  • Maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and prep areas

  • Managing inventory and assisting with ordering supplies

  • Encouraging students in developing their practical cooking skills
