Job summary

Aspire People are proud to be partnering with a large Manchester Multi-Academy Trust to recruit a passionate Food Tech Teacher for a permanent post. You will join a welcoming department that values collaboration, creativity and professional growth, starting September 2026.

As the role progresses, you will deliver engaging lessons, plan and assess work, manage classes effectively and support students to excel in Food Tech. ECTs welcome and DBS Update Service is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• QTS - essential.
• Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Food Tech.
• DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• References covering the last 2 years.

Food Tech Teacher - The Role:

• Take full responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management

Food Tech Teacher - Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 Food Tech

• Resilient, dedicated, and adaptable approach to teaching
