An enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher is sought for a high-performing secondary school in High Wycombe. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a supportive school community known for its strong academic performance and high standards in teaching. Your Role as Food Technology Teacher:
• Deliver engaging, practical, and innovative Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering their creativity and practical skills.
• Promote healthy eating, nutrition, and sustainability through hands-on food projects and learning opportunities.
• Develop students’ knowledge and skills in food science, cooking techniques, and nutrition.
• Encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs, food challenges, and school events.
• Work closely with colleagues in the department to develop engaging curriculum materials and resources.

Who We’re Looking For:
• A qualified Food Technology Teacher with QTS (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
• A passion for food education and practical, hands-on learning experiences.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills to engage students at all levels.

• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
