Job description

Equans is looking for a Food Services Team Leader to join our team at Queen Alexandra Hospital, PO6 3LY, on a permanent basis. This full-time role offers 35 hours per week, with a salary of £26,000 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Hours of work are from 12:00 to 19:30, including a half-hour break. The schedule follows a two-week rota, working every other weekend, with a day off on Tuesday, plus additional weekend allowances.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage housekeepers and patient services assistants, ensuring adequate coverage and effective duty roster management.
• Oversee service standards at ward/departmental levels, including cleaning and patient food and beverage services.
• Coordinate with ward/department managers regarding reactive maintenance requests and ensure staff proactively identify and report maintenance issues.
