Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, Defence division, is seeking a Cleaner to join a busy team delivering excellent customer experience. The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, contracted to 49.2 weeks per year, supporting Defence establishments across the UK.

You will contribute to a friendly team, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and brand standards are upheld in a fast-paced environment. Training and progression opportunities are available within the ESS division.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is not essential but preferred.
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude and teamwork.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Punctual and reliable with good timekeeping.
• Safety-first mindset and adherence to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Creating attractive food and counter displays.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Handling cash and operating the cash register.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
