Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to spearhead food service sales across Devon and the South West. In this role you will identify and win new food service customers, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding, and build lasting relationships while delivering strong margin and growth for the business.

The position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and benefits, with a focus on developing key accounts and expanding market share

Qualifications

Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within foodservice or food distribution.
Strong new business development skills with a hunter mentality
Background in foodservice with a good understanding of the sector
Commercially astute with a focus on margin and profitability
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, target-driven and highly organised
Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the food service sector
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding
Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing accounts
Achieve and exceed sales and profit targets
Build strong, long-term customer relationships
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
