Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Food Service Assistant at HMS Caledonia, Rosyth. You will serve food and beverages, help with grab-and-go options, and ensure a welcoming experience for customers.

The role is permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) on a two-week rota. Benefits include free on-site parking, staff discounts, and access to our benefits app. UK work rights and basic hygiene qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
• Experience in a similar position.
• Proven attendance and good health with reliable social behaviour.
• Sound knowledge of safe catering hygiene procedures and basic food preparation skills.
• Current Basic Food Hygiene qualification.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed portioning and presentation.
• Perform basic cold food preparation.
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery as trained.
• Keep counter and all centre areas clean and tidy, including toilets.
• Report feedback, stock needs, breakages or faults to management.
• Keep diligent records as required.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties to support the team.
