SmartRecruiters, Inc. in the Swindon area is hiring a part-time Food Service Assistant/Barista to cover patches across multiple sites. 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with travel to Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke paid.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service is preferred.
• Ability to prepare and serve meals and beverages per established menus/recipes.
• Flexible with travel to Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke (travel paid).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
• Barista work.
• Overtime offered when events on site.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
