Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join the team at Sparsholt College, SO21 2NF. The role is term-time only, 36 weeks, 25 hours per week, and pays £12.71 per hour with full training provided.

You will work Monday to Friday in a college food outlet, handling basic food prep, serving customers, and processing payments. DBS checks are required and PerkBox benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must pass an enhanced DBS.
• Previous experience preferred but full training will be provided.
• Allergen Awareness Training.
• Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Serving food in a college food outlet.
• Assemble hot & cold items and serve customers at counters.
• Basic food preparation and handling.
• Welcome customers, answer menu questions, accommodate dietary restrictions, and process payments using a till.
• Clean and sanitize prep areas, operate dishwashers, and follow food safety regulations.
• Receive deliveries, check expiration dates, and rotate inventory to minimize waste.
