About the role

As part of the hotel team, your goal is to deliver a first-rate guest experience through excellent customer service. You will contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the hotel, helping to achieve both business and personal objectives. This role offers opportunities for personal and professional development within a flexible working environment supported by the Partnership, including part-time, flexible hours, and job sharing.

Your responsibilities include being a brand ambassador by providing outstanding customer service, resolving guest queries and complaints promptly, interacting with guests about food and drinks, and performing food service duties such as serving, clearing tables, and hygiene checks. You will also assist with housekeeping tasks like room cleaning, linen changes, and bathroom sanitation. Additional duties may include laundry management, kitchen portering, and operating kitchen equipment, all while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations (training provided).

Essential skills and qualifications

• Self-motivated and industrious
• Basic knowledge of IT & POS systems and proficiency with standard software
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven hospitality experience is desirable

Desirable qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety certification
