We are currently recruiting for a a Food Services Assistant based at one our Independent Schools in Harrogate HG1

Permanent role - 52 week contract, 5 days out of 7, £11.50 per hour

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.

This is a permanent role working 5 days out of 7 including some weekends on a rota basis. The shift patterns are 7.00am to 3.00pm, and 11.30am to 7.30pm.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment
• Have flexibility to work both front and back of house.
• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
• Be able to maintain the presentation of the servery areas at all times
• Help serve and supervise food service for Pupils
• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
• Have excellent customer service and social skills
• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
• Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 6
• Have basic food knowledge
• Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
