Food Service AssistantLocation: University of Derby, Cavendish Building, 1 Agard Street, Derby, DE1 1DZContract: Full-time, 35 hours per weekSchedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday | No weekendsWorking Hours: Between 8:00am – 3:30pmHourly Rate: £12.21

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Preparing food, including freshly made sandwiches, and serving customers at the counter and till.
- Supporting stock management by helping to put away deliveries and ensuring effective stock rotation.
- Keeping retail fridges well-stocked and presentable at the front of house.
- Assisting in cleaning kitchen and front-of-house sections to maintain hygiene standards.
- Operating the dishwasher and supporting general kitchen cleanliness as needed.
- Participating in monthly stock takes as part of the wider team.
