Job Title: Barista / Food Service Assistant

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shifts: 5 out of 7 days | 10:00–17:30

Join our team at Sodexo as a Barista/Food Service Assistant in Londonderry.We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic about delivering great customer service in a food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve food and beverages to a high standard

Create a welcoming atmosphere and engage positively with customers

Operate the till and handle cash transactions

Maintain cleanliness of all service and dining areas, including equipment and surfaces

Follow food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and chemical safety

Restock condiments and support vending machine queries

Assist in the setup of special functions and events as required

What we’re looking for:

A team player with strong communication skills

Someone who takes pride in personal presentation and cleanliness

Willingness to learn and take on training

Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision

Previous experience in a café or food service environment is beneficial but not essential
