BD Group is seeking a friendly Food Service Assistant to join a school dining team in North Wembley. This part-time, term-time role runs 11am to 2pm, 15 hours per week, supporting meal preparation and service for children and staff.
You'll work under the Cook Supervisor, maintain high hygiene standards, handle food storage safely and help set up the dining area. An English speaker with basic food hygiene knowledge is ideal; DBS check will be required.

What we are looking for:
We are currently looking for engaged and dedicated catering staff. As a Food Service Assistant (FSA) you will be helping to prepare and serve meals to children and staff in school lunch-time environment. Working in a school in the North Brent area ( NW10 2TF) , this is a part-time and term time only role, as such the working hours of these roles can be ideal for those wishing to fit work around caring or other responsibilities.
This is a great entry level role for those who may be less familiar with the commercial kitchen environment, but a great opportunity to get in, start learning and develop over time. Many FSA’s have progressed their skills and been able to step up and take on more leadership responsibilities (e.g. to Assistant Cook) and we certainly welcome those development opportunities for our team!
