Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our Bolton team. The role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting service operations in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and/or beverages to customers to company standards.
• Ensure HACCP and hygiene regulations are followed.
• Clean service areas and equipment.
• Prepare service area and points.
• Clean and replenish service equipment.
• Store food items and equipment safely after service.
• Assemble and serve food efficiently, with light cooking as needed.
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Handle cash transactions following company procedures.

Whatyou’lldo:

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by the company.


• Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular H.A.C.C.P regulations


• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.


• Preparation of service area and/or service points.


• Clean and replenish service equipment.


• Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.


• Food assembly and service of same in an efficient manner, which may include some light cooking.


• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures


• Handling cash transactions and ensuring the accurate cash handling procedures are followed in accordance with company
