Job description

Our client is an established business within the food and drink sector and offers research and innovation services to industrial partners to drive product development.

The Role:

An opportunity has become available for a Sensory Scientist to join the company and support the Sensory team through the provision of innovation and insights for client product development and improvements.

As a member of the Sensory team you will be responsible for developing service capability and providing expertise for client projects including:

  • Sensory Panel management through effective selection, maintenance, training and performance
  • Ensuring projects meet client objectives including timelines, budget constraints etc.
  • Support in project development through effective quotes and proposals

Suitable applicants will have:

  • Significant Sensory Science experience including Panel leadership
  • Professional Sensory qualification
  • Experience managing projects including time-management, budgeting and delivery
  • Degree in Food Science or Food Technology (or equivalent)
  • Strong verbal and communication skills with leadership capability

Package:

In return my client offers a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits.
