Job summary

Stafforce is recruiting for a Sample Technician in Hull to support the product development team by preparing and dispatching samples, maintaining ingredient stocks, and ensuring records are up to date. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver samples efficiently and accurately.

The role requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and experience in food production or laboratory environments. The position is Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with weekends off and no shift rotation.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and product innovation.
• Experience in food preparation, food manufacturing, technical, quality, or laboratory environments.
• Understanding of Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispatch customer and product samples in a timely manner.
• Support the wider development team with sampling activities and daily tasks.
• Manage and maintain ingredient and sample stock levels.
• Ensure stock rotation procedures and product traceability are maintained.
• Keep systems, records, and documentation updated accurately.
• Assist with laboratory housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• Liaise with internal departments to support business objectives.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, food safety, and quality standards.
