Job summary

Higgidy is seeking a quality systems professional in the United Kingdom to drive continuous improvement, investigate incidents and non-conformances, and manage calibration and laboratory service providers. The role also focuses on maintaining the Quality Management System and ensuring audit readiness, reporting deficiencies to the Technical Manager.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in a technical role, HACCP Level 3, Level 4 Food Safety qualification, strong English, and good MS Office

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar technical role.
• Experience with third-party audit requirements including BRC and major retailers.
• Experience and knowledge of HACCP level 3.
• An excellent standard of both verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Question, challenge and seek opportunities to improve systems and ways of working
• Lead investigations of incidents, complaints trends and non-conformances trends, ensuring closure of non-conformances by relevant teams.
• Management of external service providers, specifically small equipment calibration and Laboratory Services
• Maintenance of QMS (Quality Management System), ensuring on-going audit readiness and highlighting deficiencies to the Technical Manager
