Herefordshire Council are looking to recruit a Food Safety Inspector.
To carry out this work you will need to demonstrate competency under the Food Law Code of Practice (England) by providing a completed assessment document with current CV and copies of relevant qualifications.
Herefordshire Council have approximately 100 category D food premises that require inspecting before the end of March 2025.
The work schedule is completely flexible; you will not be required to work 'office hours' and instead will be provided with a list of Herefordshire based food businesses and left to organise your own work programme using your own transport.
You will be required to complete a full food hygiene and food standards inspection for each premises, to include establishing the risk rating and FHRS and submitting copies of the completed intervention report and proforma (plus letter if necessary).
