Job summary

D R Newitt & Associates is seeking a Technical & Compliance professional to uphold BRCGS, GMP and customer standards across our UK manufacturing site. You will support audits, investigations and continual improvement, liaising with suppliers to maintain quality and compliance.

The role requires knowledge of food safety standards, strong communication and documentation skills, and a qualification in Food Science or related field. A full UK driving license and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, quality or compliance role within food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, M&S and customer food safety standards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the factory with technical queries, internal audits and day-to-day compliance issues.
• Maintain technical systems, procedures and documentation in line with site requirements.
• Develop and update company procedures and specifications where required.
• Support GMP, hygiene and procedural audits and work with Production to improve site standards.
• Provide technical cover and support for compliance queries in the absence of the Technical Manager.
• Log, investigate and support resolution of non-conformances and customer complaints.
