Job Description

This global business provides recognised audits, inspections, and consulting services to help manufacturers optimise their food safety programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of client food manufacturing, distribution, and packaging facilities.
• Provide technical training to management and staff on food safety, pest management, operational methods, personnel practices, and hygiene.
• Communicate findings to management and prepare follow-up reports outlining issues, observations, and corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Degree in food science or related field, with a strong background in food safety or auditing.
• Ability to organise travel, work independently, and file reports.
• Knowledge of retailer and third-party food safety standards (e.g., BRC); industry-recognised auditing qualifications are a plus (e.g., Lead Auditor).
• Willingness to travel extensively in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands; hold a valid driving licence.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
