About the Food Safety Auditor role

• Report directly to the Regional Manager and conduct audits of client food manufacturing, distribution, and packaging facilities.
• Provide technical training to management and staff on food safety, pest management, operational procedures, personnel practices, and hygiene cleaning.
• Communicate compliance levels to management and prepare follow-up reports detailing issues, observations, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree in food science or related field, with a strong technical background in food safety or auditing.
• Ability to organise travel, work independently, and file reports efficiently.
• Knowledge of retailer and third-party food safety standards (e.g., BRC); industry qualifications like Lead Auditor are advantageous.
• Full valid driving licence and ability to travel extensively in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
• Fluency in English and French; Dutch language skills are a plus.
