About the Food Safety Auditor role

• Report directly to the Regional Manager and conduct audits of client food manufacturing, distribution, and packaging facilities.
• Provide technical training to management and staff on food safety programs, pest management, operational methods, personnel practices, and hygiene standards.
• Communicate compliance levels to facility management and prepare follow-up reports detailing issues, observations, and corrective actions.

Skills & Experience

• Degree in food science or a related discipline, with a strong technical background in food safety or auditing.
• Ability to organise travel, work independently, and file reports.
• Knowledge of retailer and third-party food safety standards (e.g., BRC). Industry-recognised auditing qualifications (e.g., Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, and hold a valid driving licence.
• Fluency in English and French is essential; Dutch language skills are a plus.

The role is home-based with extensive travel and offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000, including a car allowance, pension, medical insurance, and other benefits.
